Privacy policy

How I collect, use and protect your personal information when you use this website or book a session.

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Who I am

This website is run by Anastasiia, a personal stylist and colour consultant trading as Colour & Style, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I am the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact me about your data at any time through the contact form.

What I collect and why

Enquiries and bookings

When you send the booking form I receive the details you enter:

  • your name, phone number and email address
  • the service you are interested in and your preferred date
  • anything you write in the notes
  • the page you sent the form from

I use these details only to reply to you, arrange and deliver your session, and send you anything you asked for. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract. I do not use your details for marketing unless you ask me to.

During your sessions

To prepare your colour palette, style guidance or shopping list I may keep notes about your preferences, sizes, style goals and, where you agree, photos taken during the session. I keep these only for as long as I am working with you and for a reasonable period afterwards so I can answer follow-up questions.

Website analytics and adverts (only with your consent)

If you agree in the cookie banner, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, how you found the website, and general details about your device and location (your town or region, not your address). The Meta Pixel tells Meta when you visit the website or send the booking form, so I can see whether my adverts are working. Meta may link this to your Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy. The lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are sold and delivered by Gift Up, and payments are processed by Stripe. When you buy a voucher, Gift Up collects the details needed to process your order under its own privacy policy. I receive the voucher details so that I can honour it when it is redeemed.

Reviews

The reviews shown on this website come from my Google Business Profile, together with the name and profile photo the reviewer chose to show on Google. They are refreshed daily, and anything removed from Google is removed from this website.

How long I keep it

  • Enquiries are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received.
  • Booking and invoice records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires (currently six years).
  • Session notes and photos are deleted when they are no longer needed for the service you booked.

Who else processes your data

I use a small number of trusted providers who process data on my behalf, under contracts that protect it:

  • Railway hosts this website and its database, on servers in the European Union (Netherlands).
  • Cloudflare stores and delivers the website images and provides spam protection for the booking form.
  • Email provider delivers the notification I receive when you send the form.
  • Gift Up and Stripe process gift voucher purchases (see above).
  • Google measures how this website is used through Google Analytics, only if you agree to analytics cookies.
  • Meta measures how my Facebook and Instagram adverts perform through the Meta Pixel, only if you agree to marketing cookies.

Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where your data is accessed from outside the UK, it is protected by the UK’s adequacy regulations or by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. I never sell your personal information.

Cookies

This website uses a few cookies it needs to work, such as the one that protects the booking form from spam and the one that remembers your cookie choice. With your permission it also uses:

  • Google Analytics, from Google, to see which pages people read and how they find the site. Its cookies start with _ga and are kept for up to two years.
  • the Meta Pixel, from Meta, to see whether my Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to bookings. Its cookies, _fbp and _fbc, are kept for up to three months.

Neither runs unless you agree. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • access the personal information I hold about you
  • have it corrected if it is wrong, or deleted
  • restrict or object to how I use it
  • receive it in a portable format

To use any of these rights, get in touch through the contact form. I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If I change how I use personal information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
